So over the last few months a few interested parties have been meeting on a semi-regular basis to prod the idea along. The basic idea hasn’t changed: we want to see a new kind of incubator in town, one that operates in batches, twice a year, similar to Y Combinator and Techstars.
Somebody suggested we write up the latest situation report in the form of an RFC, so we spent the weekend doing that and now we have a PDF which y’all are welcome to take a look at:

It’s still a proposal and we don’t have the funding lined up yet so we aren’t going out and renting offices in Bugisopolis just yet, but we’ve given ourselves a 100 day deadline. We want to have everything ready to go by April 22.
